Following 2004’s first film placement in the ‘The Whole Ten Yards’, Norma Diana’s Vocals & Spanish lyrics contribution on the song ‘Frida Kahlo aka Mamacita’ (by San Francisco band, The Latin Soul Syndicate) flourished with a few years of successful licensing & background music placement on national TV shows through LoveCat Music, such as: Desperate Housewives (2005), Malcolm in the Middle (2005) & MTV’s Real World (2005). Culminating with her first screen credit in the 2008 Disney film “Beverly Hills Chihuahua,” Norma Diana’s small effort has opened some big doors in the background music industry to further her explore her songwriting goals.
Thank you Happy Sanchez (Founder: Latin Soul Syndicate & of Los Mocosos) , Mark Pistel (founded the industrial funk ensemble Consolidated, threw down beats for the Disposable Heroes of Hiphopracy, and worked w/ Meatbeat ) and Randy Frisch (President of LoveCat Music & Publishing).
